Website privacy

This website is designed to collect as little personal information as practical. We do not currently use advertising trackers or behavioral advertising on ninavis.com.

Early field program

The early-interest form on this website does not transmit or store your entries on our server. Submitting it opens your device's email application and prepares a message to hello@ninavis.com. Information you choose to send is then handled through your email provider and ours.

Technical data

Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information and security logs to deliver and protect the website.

NA∧YA application

NA∧YA Soil Lite 2.2.0-rc1 is a controlled market-readiness field build. It can store sensor readings, timestamps, permanent sampling-point coordinates, visit coordinates and GNSS accuracy, field and crop context, notes, rule-based recommendations, advisor questions and answers, app/device version, tester feedback, raw sensor packets and crash diagnostics in app-specific storage on the Android device.

Local storage and backups

Core field records are local-first. Android system backup is disabled in this field-test build. The user can explicitly create and share a daily CSV, complete CSV export or ZIP support bundle. These files may contain sensitive field locations and operational notes; recipients and storage destinations are chosen by the user.

Optional online advisor

When Online Mode is selected and a tester configures an HTTPS model endpoint, the farmer's question, selected point name, current sensor snapshot and local screening recommendations can be sent to that provider. The provider may process network identifiers and request content under its own privacy terms. If the provider is unavailable or not configured, the app uses its on-device agriculture knowledge base. The access token is protected with Android Keystore encryption and is not included in CSV or support-bundle exports.

Permissions and third-party services

The app requests location permission for sampling-point creation, visit records, maps and approximate return navigation, and USB host access for compatible wired sensors. Connected map, weather or model features may rely on third parties and require internet access. Field testers should use accounts, endpoints and services authorized by their test coordinator.

Field-test diagnostics

Feedback and crash information are saved locally. NINAVIS receives them only if the tester deliberately shares a support bundle. A bundle can include readings, coordinates, field context, questions, answers, feedback, device/app version and the most recent raw sensor packet; it is designed not to include the online-advisor access token.

Retention and deletion

Records remain on the device or in destinations selected by the user until removed there. Deleting a point in the app removes that point's saved readings and advisor history from the app's managed CSV files. Uninstalling the app normally removes app-specific device storage, but previously shared exports and recipient copies must be deleted separately.
